Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Small Mixing Bowl, Large Skillet
This is a fantastic cake. Cook it for a family get together, holiday, or just an after dinner treat. It is moist, flavorful, and sure to please.
- 1 Stick Butter
- 4 TBS Brown Sugar
- 1 Can Pineapple Rings with Juice
- 2 Eggs
- Maraschino Cherries
- Yellow Cake Mix
Combine cake mix, eggs, and juice for the can of pineapple. Set aside. In the large skillet, melt the butter on Medium heat. Sprinkle in the brown sugar. When the butter has been absorbed by the sugar, quickly place the pineapple rings in the skillet and put the cherries in the center of the rings. Pour the batter over the cherries. Cook on Medium heat, with the whistle closed, for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for another 10-12 minutes or until done.
